WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the Walmart Stores, Inc., of Bentonville, Ark. today announced a voluntary recall of General Electric®-branded 12-cup digital coffee makers. The coffee maker can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
